1920 the Pension "Onkel Fritz" in Spital am Semmering was bought by Mrs. Mathilde Ühlein (1st generation) and built up in the year 1924,1926 enlarged by today’s cafe.

1952 it was handed over to my grandmother -1968 to my parents

since 1982 we are leading das onkel fritz in the 4th generation with pleasure and engagement

since October 2011 - das onkel fritz - is a 3* Superior Hotel

Our heart has decided that two "very old relicts" will maintain the traditions of the old and the new: the wonderful old writing on the house and some interesting oriental pictures which have been in our house since the beginning.
